Its good to be back at it again. Better Off Ted started up again so I’m back in the studio, writing away. This past summer started out great….went to Hawaii, went camping up at Pismo, etc. In the early weeks of summer I got a much needed break after a stretch of work like none I’ve ever seen. I needed the recharage, and it felt great to spend some time with my boys, who are getting bigger and older at a pace I can hardly believe.

The summer took a dive though in the beginning of July when both of my in-laws got sick. Its been a chaotic two months full of cancer, nursing homes, and the nightmare that is medi-cal. After 2 straight months of hospitals, phone calls, and uncertainty, things are finally starting to settle. Work is starting back up at a perfect time, both from a convenience standpoint but also from a mental standpoint. I NEED to get back at it to restore a little normalcy (is that even a word?).

If anything positive came out of this, its that while I was away from the studio, I was able to get some contractor folks in there to finish off the remodel. After almost 2 years, its finally coming to an end. Pics to follow soon!
